Our Computer Basics program for the workplace offers small group (4-6 students), instructor-led classes. Students attend once per week for a six-week session. Daytime and evening classes are available. Sessions are offered in the fall, winter and spring.
These are INTRODUCTORY level courses, which cover the following topics:
- Introduction to Windows
- Microsoft Word basics
- Email & Internet
- File Management
- Introduction to Excel
Suitable for: Individuals age 19+ who have a goal of learning basic computer skills for the workplace.
Fees and Eligibility: Tuition is free; a resource fee of $40 applies for Computer Basics I and $30 for Computer Basics II. Financial support is available to those who qualify. All students are assessed to determine suitability.

ESL students must have a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 6 to enter our programs.
