Our Sheridan Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) program is a high school equivalency program for adult learners and is recognized as an OSSD (grade 12) equivalent by Ontario’s community colleges and by the Apprenticeship Branch. Our classes are taught by Sheridan College professors and offer grade 12 College level equivalency courses in the following subjects:

  • English
  • Math
  • Biology (equivalent to grade 11 College level)
  • Chemistry

Classes are part-time on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings in both Georgetown and Milton. The program runs from September to the end of June. Intake is continuous.


Suitable for:  Individuals age 19+ who have a goal of college, apprenticeship or GED

Fees and Eligibility:  Tuition is free; a registration fee of $40 applies and there is an $80 refundable textbook deposit fee (1 per subject). Financial support is available to those who qualify. All students are assessed to determine suitability.
